Congratulations to Alan Bowden who has been selected as “Spirit of the Final”. Alan was chosen by The Meath Chronicle and Generali Pan Europe to receive the award.
A key part of the selection process was the attitude of the player during the game and all the recipients displayed positive attributes that reflected well on their team and their school.
This award also recognises qualities of character, skill, determination and motivation.
This is the second year in a row a child from Mount Hanover NS has received this award for their display in the final. Last year, Ellen Brodigan was chosen.
Alan will receive his award at a special awards ceremony in Navan next week.
