Friday September 25th saw the first assembly of the year. This assembly was organised by the children in 5th & 6th class. They did a fantastic job!
At assembly the following children were awarded prizes:
Pupil of the Month: Alex, Megan, Aimee , Charlie, Amy , Cian , Chloe, Jyles, Nicole, James, Leigh, Dylan, Kate, Jack , Ellen and Conor.
Handwriting Awards: May, Carra, Alex, Noelle, Abbie, Tess, Ava and Adam.
Gaeilgeoir na Míosa: James, Annalise, Erik, Carla, Bailey, Luke, Tom and Lucas.
September assembly was a special prayer service. Charlie, Annalise, Erik, Carla, James, Lexie, Aaron and Amy C led the class prayers.
Ms. O’Loughlin led the school in a moment of silence for in memory of all those who suffered loss during the Great Famine. This was a country wide initiative with all schools asked to observe this moments silence today.
The songs performed at this months assembly were “Circle of Friends” at the beginning and “i’m a Believer” at the end.
