Safer Internet Day

Today is Safer Internet Day 2015.

Safer Internet Day is an EU wide initiative to promote a safer internet for all users, especially young people.

The children in Scoil Cholmcille have been learning about Internet Safety with the webwise.ie programme.

Children in 4th, 5th and 6th class also participated in a “Respectful Online Communication” talk with the local Gardaí.

Being safe online is very important and children need to be taught how to communicate respectfully.

Below are some links that you may try out at home with your children to highlight the importance of staying safe online.
