A short survey of the 5th/6th Class children was completed today.
The questions and results are posted below.

- How many people have received a message from a stranger? 59%
- How many people have sent a message to someone they don’t know? 32%
- How many people have spoken (voice) to a stranger online? 41%
- How many people have lied about their age? 73%
- How many people use the internet more than once a day? 95%
- How many people use the internet to play games? 77%
The children in 3rd & 4th Class also completed a survey.

- How many students use the internet to play games? 71%
- How many students have a Snapchat account? 24%
- How many students have an Instagram account? 24%
- How many students have a Discord account? 35%
- How many students have a YouTube account? 29%
- How many students have a Viber/Whatsapp account? 29%
- How many students use the internet more than once a day? 100%
- How many people have received a message from a stranger? 59%
- How many people have sent a message to someone they don’t know? 35%
- How many people have spoken (voice) to a stranger online? 53%
- How many people have lied about their age? 65%
The internet is a valuable resource, however, it is so important that the children know how to stay safe online.
Hopefully the lessons they participated in today will help them be aware of their safety online.
