5th and 6th class are currently taking a course in Cycle Safety. Richie comes on a Tuesday and brings bikes and helmets with him. Last week the children learned about the three checks you must do before getting on a bike –
- Clothes check
- Helmet check
- Bike check
This week the children got to ride bikes around the yard following a circuit set out by Richie. They focused on freewheeling, signalling and turning left.
The children had great fun and can’t wait until next week!
