A huge well done to the boys and girls U13 Table Tennis teams who today, had their Meath Finals in Mount Hanover NS.
Up first was the boys team of Tom, Aaron and Jack. They were playing against Kilbride. Unfortunately it wasn’t our day despite some excellent play from the boys. Nonetheless to finish runners up to a superb Kilbride side was a brilliant achievement!
The girls team of Jane, Amy B, Amy C and Emily were up next against a team from Baconstown, Enfield. What a tight tense encounter this was! The girls didn’t let the pressure get to them and they came out on top! Some fantastic battles in this game with the final two games going down to the wire! The girls showed real strength and composure to close out the win!
A special word of thanks to Ms. Leddy for all her fantastic work with the teams and also in hosting the games today!
The next round of the competition (North Leinsters) is on May 29th in Clonard. Both the Boys U16 and Girls U13 teams will play on this day!
