Scoil Cholmcille is working towards keeping the school litter free.
Our litter wardens have noticed that there is a huge amount of litter being disposed of in school.
For that reason, we ask children to bring home all wrappers in an effort to reduce the volume of litter for disposal at school.
We ask that children bring a reusable bottle for drinks and a small plastic lunchbox for sandwiches/rolls etc., and to avoid bringing tinfoil and clingfilm wrappers as much as possible.
We also encourage children to recycle as much litter as possible both at school and at home.
