Imagine someone collapses in front of you. What would you do?
By knowing hands-only CPR you can double or triple their chance of survival
Dear Member of our community,
We are delighted to write to you to inform you of a very important community-training event:
Duleek CFR Community Training Event
26th May 2019, Duleek Parish Centre, Church Lane, Duleek, A92 R658
Open to everyone in the community over the age of 13 years.
CPR Saves Lives. 70% of cardiac arrests occur in the home so everyone should be prepared and learn hands-only CPR. Our mass training event will be completely free and will happen in one-hour sessions across the day starting at the following times: 09:45, 10:45, 11:45, 13:45, 14:45 & 15:45.
We predict places will fill up quickly, so booking your session on eventbrite.ieto secure your place is advisable. Group bookings are very welcome, so we encourage community groups to sign up together.
You can book your place on Eventbrite using the following link

Duleek CFR’s key goal with this training day is to help save lives from cardiac arrest through CPR training. The more people who know CPR the more lives we can save. Everyone can be a vital link in the chain in our community, workplaces, and homes. If a loved one or someone you know goes into cardiac arrest, you are their main chance of survival. One hour of your time on Sunday, 26th May, could change someone’s life.
Every day in Ireland 13 people die from a cardiac arrest, unfortunately, just 6.5% of people in Ireland who have a cardiac arrest in a non-hospital setting survive. CPR is an easy skill to learn and once you know how to do it, you could save someone’s life. CPR is a vital step in the chain of survival after a cardiac arrest and if you have been taught CPR, you are 10 times more likely to respond appropriately in an emergency.
Join us and encourage others to get on board – learn how to use your hands to save a life in an hour.
Let us help make you prepared!
If you require further information please call Pauline Durkin (087) 6390495 Duleek CFR Coordinator.
